1. Vendor Withdrawal & Fund Holding Period

  • Standard 3-Day Hold: Funds are held for 3 business days after the buyer marks the order as “Completed” or the carrier confirms delivery.
  • Dispute Window: Buyers have 48 hours from delivery to report a problem; funds remain on hold until any open disputes are resolved.
  • Established Vendors: Vendors with over 50 successful sales and a 4.5+ star rating may qualify for an expedited 24-hour release.
  • Commission: BidZid retains an 8% commission on the final sale price. This may still be charged to the Seller if a refund is due to Seller error.

2. Bidder Withdrawal Policy (Right of Cancellation)

  • Before Auction End: Bid retractions are only allowed for exceptional circumstances (e.g., clear typographical errors) and must be reported at least 12 hours before the auction closes.
  • After Auction End: Withdrawal from a winning bid is strictly prohibited.
  • Non-Payment: Failure to pay is a breach of policy leading to account suspension, “Blacklist” status, and forfeiture of bidding deposits.
